Accessing Library Materials

The Library has a wide range of print and online resources available for use - see the various tabs for information on accessing article collections and books (print & ebooks) in your program areas.

You don't have to physically go to the library to access eBooks or articles! The library has eBooks that you can find in the library catalogue or by browsing specific eBook collections. Most of the Library's journal, magazine and newspaper articles can be accessed online using the resources listed in the Articles section.

In addition to the options listed throughout this guide, you can search for books & articles in a number of ways:

Streaming videos can be found by:

  • Searching the library catalogue - change the 'Format' option to 'Streaming Video'
  • Searching the individual video collections on the Streaming Videos page

Accessing Online Resources

When accessing a Library-owned resource like an article database, a streaming video or an ebook, you will be asked to sign in using your network login. Your Username is your Student Number and the Password is the one that you use to sign onto the computer network.
