3D Printing

When you send a file to the Library's service, we will typically select a 3D printer to print it on based on availability, size and other factors. We have Bambu, Ultimaker and Prusa models. For those who wish to learn more about our 3D printer models, we have provided some details below. 

The following applies to all of our models:

• Nozzle diameter: 0.4 mm
• Filament type we use: PLA 
• File types we accept: .STL, .OBJ, .3MF

Bambu 

Model: Bambu P1S 

• Slicing software: Bambu Studio*
• Build size: 25.6 cm (length) x 25.6 cm (width) x 25.6 cm (height)

Ultimaker 

• Slicing software: Ultimaker Cura*

Models:

Ultimaker 2+ Extended

• Build size: 22.3 cm (length) x 22.3 cm (width) x 30.5 cm (height)

Ultimaker 2+

• Build size: 22.3 cm (length) x 22.3 cm (width) x 20.5 cm (height)

Ultimaker 2Go 

• Build size: 12 cm (length) x 12 cm (width) x 11.5 cm (height)

Prusa 

Model: Prusa Mini+

• Slicing software: PrusaSlicer*
• Build size: 18 cm (length) x 18 cm (width) x 18 cm (height)
