How to Find Books

Submit a Digitization Request

What is a digitization request?

The Library will digitize single chapters or single articles from print books and journals by user request. Digitization requests are subject to the limitations of the Copyright Act, Fair Dealing and Access Copyright. The digitized content will be provided online to the requester for their personal use. Faculty can also post digitized content in DC Connect, subject to copyright guidelines. Email for more information.

You must sign in to Omni to see Digitization options. You can do this from the Library home page using the Omni Login button.

Or, once you're in Omni, select Sign in at the top right of the page.

Find the book or other resource in Omni. Select the title or Available at to go to the record.

In the Get It section of the record, select Digitization

Fill in details about the part you want digitized and select Send Digitization Request

You will receive an email when the request has been processed.
