What are Statistical Information Sources?

Statistical information sources can enhance research papers and in many cases may be essential to completing an essay or assignment. This guide contains statistical databases and tools that can be used to quickly locate authoritative statistics on a variety of subjects.

In addition to finding statistics on official government sites, many groups, associations and organizations collect and report statistics on their websites. These can often be found under a publications, reports or research section on their website.

How to Find and Use Statistical Information Sources

Statistical Resources may also be listed in the Library Catalogue. Add the following phrase to the end of a search string: and statistic* (for example, homicide and statistic*).
