About the Pre-Health Subject Guide

This is a guide to recommended library resources, in various formats, for those doing research in the health sciences area. Browse through different types of resources using the tabs above e.g. if you are looking for journal articles, use the Articles & Databases tab to find relevant journal indexes in the field. You can also browse resources in courses you are currently taking, e.g., Chemistry, using the tabs above.

For general research help, go the Library's Research Process page. For help using the library catalogue, indexes and databases, or other specific tools, see the Find Books or Find Articles pages.

Hint: Academic research is NOT like using Google or Google Scholar. The tools listed in this subject guide are specialized resources for the courses you will study at the pre-health program and offer more complex search capabilities than you may be familiar with if you are a new user. Research is a skill like any other: the more you do it, the better you are!

If you have any questions or require assistance with any of the resources listed in this guide, please contact your designated librarian, Nathalie Zhou.
